From the Iconic Japanese Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans show, I fell in love instantly with these grunt units.

 

Unfortunately, I do not have any photos of the build process, which was kind of messy, I really want to add some process photos in the next posts in here, to make a blog of processes and not focused only in final results.

At first, I wanted to do a greener version, like the other grunt unit in the show, the Graze.

 

Surfing on the internet Soon I decide to take this one as inspiration.

The result was this model in which I just painted and placed some decals here and there, I did not panel the surfaces.

The Beginner category consist in straight out of the box build with minor modifications and paint, decals and panel lining are optional, so in this case I just use the parts provided in the box, a weapon from HG Barbatos set and shoulders from the Grimoire Red Beret (Ill make his own post later)

 

I painted with Tamiya acrylics in my no brand airbrush and used decals from “Bandai”, “Vertex” and “HIQ parts”

 

Mechafest is a local contest for Gumpla builders that live in Mexico City and nearby, the 2018 contest where local only, but the 2019 edition was almost national. Due to the coronavirus thing, the 2020 edition was cancelled.
